Fall First Look

This is the Place, First Look Video

I have shot weddings at "This is the Place" before but this my first opportunity to shoot outdoors. This was the perfect setting for a first look video in the fall. I was excited to see that the leaves were on the verge of change and the wheat grass was long and golden. And as fall weather goes, it could not have been more sublime. We had a subtle breeze and warm. As we prepped, the groom was patient to wait and stand alone as instructed while we made final touches. Although he had to bide his time longer than most, the reveal was well worth the wait. I could tell they were so anxious to finally take this step in their lives. You could see in their interactions how close they must be on a mental, and emotional level.
